I Needed Products That Worked for My Lifestyle
For most of my life I have struggled with extremely sensitive and acne-prone skin. I have battled with products that irritated my skin to the point that my eyes swelled shut, have been annoyed by gentle products that look horrible after just a few hours and used to constantly carry a full makeup bag with me because I needed to touch up throughout my long days. Sound familiar?
Well, I finally got sick of it all, and set out to find a solution myself.
I was getting up at 5 am to ride my horses, Urban & Ego, would change and wash up at the barn, head straight to work for the day and usually would have plans after work. I needed makeup that I could quickly apply, could handle my busy schedule, not cause breakouts and maybe even help my skin. Why was that such a crazy concept?
As equestrians we are especially around a lot of dirt and get sweaty, neither of which are great for sensitive, acne-prone skin, so I needed makeup that could help nourish and treat my skin and not encourage breakouts. So, I created URGO Beauty.

A portion of every URGO Beauty purchase is donated to animal charities in need. We are currently donating proceeds to Days End Farm Horse Rescue and Caring Hearts for Canines.
Additionally, a portion of all proceeds from our Pandemic Pink Tint are donated to the Humane Rescue Alliance Pet Pantry. This program serves the D.C. area to help those in need feed their pets.

I waited a month to write this. I prefer to test out a product for a bit first. This is by far the best mascara I’ve ever used ! My eyes always water or get irritated with mascara. Or it gets clumpy or runs during the day. I definitely could never wear it to the barn or in the heat. I can wear this one all day with no issues ! I can run around with my toddler in the heat or go for a ride. It’s super easy to take off. I’ve had some in the past that literally made my eyelashes fall out I had to scrub so hard. My eyelashes already look healthier without it on. I’m so impressed, once again, with Urgo and their integrity to clean products that work well for an equestrian woman.

This Urgo Beauty mascara is exactly what I need: good volume and length, wearability even after a day at a horse show with minimal flakeage, and it comes off easily with gentle cleanser. This CC cream is so light and airy, all I have to do is use two pump, rub it in and, voila... Perfect, flawless skin. I struggle with redness on my cheeks and this CC cream covers it so well. I totally recommend this product and will be purchasing again!
Mascara is typically the only makeup I wear, so when I say I’m picky about it, I mean it. Urgo’s new mascara is HANDS DOWN my new fav!!! Makes my lashes full without making them heavy, stays on all day (even when sweaty!), but also washes off easily without having to scrub my eyes. 1000/10
